BRAMPTON HOCKEY ACADEMY

On-Ice
AAA/AA/A/MD

* 20 hours (schedules permitting) training facilitated by Nic Martins and Academy Coaches
* Position Specific, individual skills, shooting, skating, passing etc.
* Game skills such as puck protection, puck handling, hitting, attack tactics etc.
* Offensive and defensive tactics based on feedback from coaches
* Roll out individual skills training by December and help coaches if they need with game scenarios and group play tactics
* Goalie specific training
* Ice time built into surcharge
* MD to get 10 hours to be done during their practice dates

Off-Ice (in season)
AAA/AA/A - 2 60 minute sessions per week at Flash Training Center

1st Hour
 * Combination strength, endurance and flexibility
 * 2 instructors + coach from participating team
 * Circuit training
 * Coaches participation mandatory (someone from the staff) 
 * All players and coaches in academy gear
2nd hour
 * Combination of skating treadmill, slide boards, deker boxes etc.
 * 2 instructors + coach from participating team
 * Circuit training
 * Coaches participation mandatory (someone from the staff) 
 * All players and coaches in academy gear
 * Scheduled intervals will have team video sessions

Cost (off-ice)
* September to January - 20 weeks @ 2 sessions / week
* February -1 session / week (flexibility and maintenance)
* 44 sessions total
* $12 / session / player
* $528 / player / season for dryland training

Off-Ice (Summer Strength Program)
* July 7 - Aug 30
* 3-4 sessions per week
* Strength, speed, flexibility, endurance
* Team sessions
* Group sessions
* Private sessions
* Day/evening sessions depending upon team/group needs

Hockey Share Tool

AAA/AA/A
 * To be used by all Rep coaches at all levels
 * Practice plans to be shared amongst staff and potentially parents
 * People will know what you are working on and can support your plan not their own
 *
