He has been fortunate enough to have coached from the Tyke age group all the way up to Provincial Jr A and Jr B. He has worked with several OHL coaches training players with skill development both on ice and video.

Nic has been one of the coaches at the Program of Excellence U17 Program for many years.

Nic has also coached Roller Hockey for many years. He has coached Team Canada at the Jr Mens level several times both here and abroad in Germany, France, Italy and the United States.

Nic has also coached several Team Ontario teams over the years in National competitions.

Nic’s years of coaching experience has given him a very detailed understanding of the game both in a “in game” and “skills development” setting.  He is a very strong skills and cognitive developer. His detailed approach to the skills and game itself is what sets him aside form other developers.

He is well versed and experienced in all aspects of skills development including, skating techniques and mechanics, shooting techniques and mechanics, passing, stick handling and all game scenario’s.

Nic loves hockey and teaching hockey. He really enjoys forming relationships with the kids and being part of their development.
