Minor Midget AE Tournament Finalists in Bradford
The Brampton 45s Minor Midget AE team were finalists yet again this past weekend in the Bradford Blue and Gold Rep Classic tournament.
The 45s made their way to another championship game this past weekend in Bradford. The team went 4-0 in round robin play, making quick work of the Pickering Panthers, West London Hawks, Stouffville Clippers, and Georgina Blaze. They faced the Stouffville Clippers in the semi final game and held on to a 4-3 victory to push towards another championship berth, this time against the West London Hawks. After a hard fought game, the Hawks had their revenge as they squeaked out a 3-2 victory. The 45s tournament record was 5-1 with 28 GF, 6 GA, and 16 PIM; the least penalized team in their division indicative of their consistent disciplined play.
