Orillia Tournament Silver
Great job by our Brampton 45's Minor Atom A Team in finishing as Finalists in the Jim Wilson Chevrolet Winter Classic (Orillia) on November 15, 2015. We are extremely proud of the boys for earning the Silver medal. The team had loads of fun and developed strong team chemistry off ice. In particular, key memories of the trip include team dinners, pool parties, recreation room chaos, and toasted marshmallows via late night bonfire on the lake.
The B45's gained confidence throughout the tournament by posting a 3-0 record in the round robin. During the semifinals they beat a strong Grimsby squad 5-2. The finals was an exciting game, as the Innisfil WinterHawks scored with less than 2 minutes left to win 1-0. We look forward to continuing our exciting season.
