On to the Tri County Finals
The boys continued to show their level of compete and cohesiveness to play the team game last night with a 2-0 victory over Halton to earn a berth in the Tri County Finals against Oakville. A season of small streaks both winning and losing ending in a 5th seed finish out of 11 teams for a first year rep team was rewarding for the players, staff and parents alike.
Going into the playoffs we battled through an 8 game round robin coming up just short of advancing but came back to the Tri Counties with a desire to continue to compete. In the Tri Counties we battled through 6 very close games, 2 in overtime to finish 4-2 and on to face the #2 seed Oakville Rangers in a best 3 out of 5.
