Your Brampton Minor Bantam Bulldogs pulled off the dramatic
come from behind victory last weekend over a strong Caledon Hawks team, edging them
3-2.
The Bulldogs found themselves behind early, giving up two goals within the first 5 minutes of the game. They finally found the scoreboard in the 2nd period on a goal scored by Gregory MacDonald, (assisted by Josh Sinclair and Riley Cheeseman) to cut the lead in half heading into the final period. The 3rd period was a spirited affair, with a combined 9 penalties called against both team. The Bulldogs tied the game on Gregory’s 2nd goal of the night (assisted by Josh Sinclair and Riley Cheeseman), then late in the 3rd completed the comeback with Gregory finishing off the hat-trick (assisted by Lucas Dias and Gavin Park)!!! Game MVP was Gregory MacDonald (3 goals).
The Bulldogs look to keep rolling next weekend with games against Milton and Orangeville.
