Congrats to the MP MD-1 Black Team !!
Congratulations to our MD-1 Black team for winning the Minor Peewee Intra-City championship this weekend!
The kids played hard all season and built a winning record against every team in the league except for the Orangeville Flyers. Going into the Day of Champs with a 1-3-1 record against the tough Orangeville squad, our boys were full of nervous energy and knew it was going to take an extra special effort to come out on top. A 3-0 final was a wonderful way to cap off a fun season!
There were many great friendships and memories created this year but a particularly special moment was the day Sean Monahan came out to watch one of our games and chat with the team in the dressing room afterwards. Thanks again Sean for contributing to a very memorable season for these kids!
