The playoffs came to a disappointing end when the 45s Minor Midget A team fell to Hespeler and their red hot goalie. With snow still on the ground the 45s decided to keep the season going by competing in the GTHLs Clancy Cup.

The Clancy Cup is one of the oldest tourneys around, dating all the way back to 1936. This year, 14 teams from across the GTA and it's surrounding areas will playoff against each other throughout the month of March and early April.

"It's not our first choice of where we want to be playing right now, but we're glad to be playing" coach Luddington said. "It gives us a chance to go out on a high note, and keep everyone sharp for tryouts which are coming up in April."

The 45s are off to a great start, winning their first 4 games.
