45s win and lose against Caledonia
The 45s secured a spot in the semi-finals of the Midget Madness tourney in Pickering, after pulling off a 3-0 win against 14th ranked Caledonia in their final game of the round robin. This game was the highlight of the tourney, with exceptional back and forth play and intensity.

"I can see why Caledonia is ranked so high" coach Luddington said. "They forecheck so well, and they back check harder than any team I've played this year. And they're tough by disciplined."

In the semi-finals Brampton had to face Caledonia again, and once again it was another back and forth game. Brampton got on the board first, but Caledonia quickly tied it up. When the third period started the score was 1-1, but Brampton lost two defense two injury and were already down one defense to suspension.

They were in a tough spot, but they didn't let up. The 45s had several chances to take the lead, but a power play goal by Caledonia was the eventual game winner.

Caledonia went on to beat #2 ranked Orillia in the finals.
