An excellent way to end the regular season

An excellent job by everyone tonight. Four goals from #9, 2 from #13 and one each from #13 and #3. Even though the game didn't change much in the standings, it meant a lot to us to end the season with a dominate win and terrific energy builder as we move into the playoffs next weekend.
Everyone played great. Our defense were sharp skating up the boards and knowing when to dump the puck or pass. Our forwards both back and fore checked chasing after the loose puck, jumping on the chance to bury it in the net. Three times tonight, we did the same break out drill we do during practice. And it clearly proved very successful. Practice does help and tonight is an excellent example how working together, unselfishly, we can dominate. We won today because we all worked together.
Next week we start the playoffs against the Habs. A team we've played very hard against, splitting the regular season with a win a piece. Lets keep this momentum moving forward and repeat tonight's hard work and teamwork effort into next weekend.
