U18 BB Canada Cup Champs!
Congratulations to the Brampton 45's U18BB team who captured GOLD in the Canadian Cup in Chambly, Montreal Quebec this past weekend.
The team had an outstanding perfect record in the tournament going undefeated 4-0!Game #1 against Applewood Coyotes was complete dominance in 6-0 shutout game! Game #2 against Scarborough Ice Raiders was 3-2. Game # 3 was 2-1 against North Ottawa. The Championship game on Sunday was played against North Ottawa for a very exciting rematch. The boys came out with a huge fast start scoring in the first few seconds of the game! They scored 2 more goals and had a 3-0 lead going into the third period. North Ottawa did not give up and came back scoring 2 goals to keep the game very close. Brampton 45's managed to defend and hold the lead and win the game 3-2 capturing the Gold Medal and hosting the Trophy at the Canadian Cup in Montreal!!! Congrats to all the players, coaching staff and super proud parents for bringing home Gold driving in a crazy snowstorm making it safely back Brampton!!!
