What a weekend for our U15A Brampton 45's Team! This past weekend, the team competed in the CCM NATIONs CUP IN DETROIT. They proudly represented our Country and did their absolute best to make not only Brampton....but Canada proud! Team Canada vs. Team USA!!
The Team went undefeated 4-0 on Friday and Saturday, which was simply incredible how they bought into the plan and executed with excellence!!!! They beat Orland Park Vikings 9-0, beat Hartland HC Huskies 3-1, beat Kalamazoo Wings 2-1 and beat Team Ohio 5-1.
Shout outs to the Players of the Games: Maaran Anand, George Wynne and Michael Bennett and the entire Team for one of the games which was driven by every teammate contributing to the win.
Going into the Finals on Sunday, Team Canada U15A had the best record with the highest goals for at 19 and lowest goals against at 3. Unfortunately, in the Championship game, the team fell short 2-0 to Kalamazoo Wings (team they beat the day before) on 2 very unlucky goals despite battling hard. Very tough loss, coming in 2nd place.
They boys played like Champs every step of the way and we could not be prouder of how these 45's represented Brampton Hockey and the RED & WHITE CANADIAN MAPLE LEAF in the Motor City.
On behalf of BHI, the Coaching and Management Staff and all the proud families who supported this team along the way, well done and congratulations!!!
