MD 2 - Gold, 2017-2018, U15-MD (Brampton Hockey Inc.)

The regular season has come to an end with your Brampton 45s Bantam MD Gold finishing with a solid 15-8-5 record and a 3rd place finish in the standings.  It was a very competitive league this season with a number of teams battling for top spot in the division.  The regular season title went to Brampton MD Black with a tough Barrie Colts team one point behind.  Congrats to all on a great regular season. The Brampton 45s Bantam MD Gold won a thrilling 2-0 battle against the host team Faustina Fury to capture the Gold Medal in the 2017 Faustina X-Mas Tournament. The boys battled hard all week to come away with the championship.  What a great way to finish off a great 2017!  Happy New Year to all of the Brampton Hockey family and let's continue the winning ways in 2018!!

The Brampton 45s Bantam MD Gold Coaching Staff would like to thank all of the players and families for stepping up again this year to help out with the Gift of Giving Back event.  We had great participation by all and topped it off with a fun afternoon gathering donations outside of Sobeys.  Thanks again team for helping support such a great cause, and an outstanding initiative by Brampton Hockey.

The Bantam 45s MD Gold quest for an undefeated season has come to an end.  The team has started out on fire leading the league with a record of 9-0-3 before suffering their first loss of the season, 3-1 to a tough and determined Barrie Colts team last night.  Congratulations on the great start boys and now it's time to start a new streak!

The Bantam 45s MD Gold have come out of the gate strong with 5 consecutive wins to start the season.  After a 7-4 win in the opener vs Markham, the boys have won 7-1 vs Bradford, 2-1 and 3-2 in back to back tilts with Newmarket, then a 3-0 victory over Georgina.  Balanced scoring, strong defensive play, and solid goaltending have been the keys, but it is a long season with some great competition in the new York Simcoe MD league.  The 45s are back at it this weekend with a rematch vs Georgina on Friday, then an all Brampton matchup with the 45s Black.  Should be a great weekend, and we hope to ...
