BRAMPTON HOCKEY REC GOALIE DEVELOPMENT - OVERVIEW

We will be providing specific goalie training to our recreational league goalies again this season.

Our goal is to deliver fundamental skills and drills to our goalies in an effort to give each goalie the tools necessary to advance their goalie skills and to maximize their enjoyment of the game.

We will deliver this clinic on Monday nights at Chris Gibson arena from 7pm - 8pm starting on Sep 22.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT ONLY BRAMPTON HOCKEY REGISTERED PLAYERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM

INSTRUCTORS

We will have multiple instructors on ice and run small groups on the ice that will be arranged by age and or skill level.

Jared Lockhurst of Blue Ice Goaltending will be the Lead instructor along with several secondary instructors.

We would strongly encourage each goalie to get out as often as they can in an effort to progress their skills to hit new plateaus.

SHOOTERS

We will endeavor to have several shooters on the ice as well from within our hockey leagues and teams. Shooters will also be of different ages and skill sets which will give goalies realistic shots they would be facing. Volunteer hours can/will be provided to volunteer shooters. More information to be provided soon.

REGISTRATION

Registration will be done online, which will help us organize the practice plans and groups for each session.
Even though there will be no cost to participants, you must be registered with the office to participate in this program.
