Registration for the 2020-21 season.

Brampton Hockey understands our membership is very excited about the 2020-21 hockey season.

Registration for the 2020-21 season is now open primarily to determine the interest in returning to play.

We are currently looking at holding all registration prices status quo for the 2020-21 season. These registration fees are based on BHI being able to offer similar programs to last season.

FEES can be found HERE

After much discussion on ways to keep all players active in Hockey programs as well as identifying our costs and expenses we have had no choice but to use funds from our emergency reserves to help off set our operating costs as well as identifying some areas of financial shortfalls we are expecting. In the past we had late fees applied at different times of registration to try to encourage members to register early. This year no late fees will be applied and that alone is a shortfall of approx. $40,000. In addition to that with the Bingo halls being closed and no active Bingo revenue coming in and fundraising and sponsorship revenue being decreased we are experiencing significant revenue loss which are all staples in our budget year after year. That being said we are experiencing increases in actual hockey costs in the way of insurance, team registration, ice rentals etc to name a few.

Brampton Hockey is not making it mandatory to make a payment given the current circumstances with COVID-19. Once registration opens, parents can go online and register as BHI needs this information to help us plan for the fall accordingly. Upon the checkout phase of registration, you will be prompted to select a payment plan option with a $0 down payment and the balance to be processed on September 15, 2020. We are looking at payment plans of September 15, October 15th, November 15 and the balance of December 15th. You will be required to enter your credit card information, so the payment on September 15, 2020 can be processed. Your card will not be charged until those date(s). There has been talk in regards to the last payment being adjusted (lowered) to reflect what programs we are actually able to offer throughout the course of the year and that will be determined at a later date once we have some more definitive answers. Registration is open.

Please CLICK HERE to register.

* Families registering 4 participants within a single family, please contact [email protected] for special procedures based on a discount for registering 4 children *

** Registration must be completed by September 14, 2020 **

*** Registration for Special Needs is not open at this time and will be opened at a later date ***

Registration Fees/Process

For anyone unfamiliar with the registration process, we want to clarify the following.

Registration is a base fee (differing by appropriate group programs), that covers the basic costs of jerseys, ice time, referees, and other administrative & miscellaneous expenses that go along with running a hockey association.

EVERYONE playing within the BHI must register to play. That is inclusive of rep, house league, Initiation Programs, and Special Needs.

BHI understands the current circumstances are out of everyone’s control right now and there may be situations where families would like to withdraw their registration at a later date. An email will be sent out prior to the September 15, 2020 payment date to confirm your intentions.
