Your actual hour of game and practice times for this weekend (Oct 16/17) will be confirmed by Friday once the teams are finalized and the coaches receive the information.

Please note that times are subject to change due to unforeseen events.

The first few weeks will consist mainly of skills based evaluations and exhibition games.

Please note that a division re-balance will take place after the 3rd weekend of hockey.  Your child may be moved to another team to ensure that teams are all evenly matched.

While jerseys will be distributed this weekend, they will be re-collected after the 3rd week and washed until teams are finalized.

Name bars CANNOT be added to your child's jersey until the teams are finalized.

Players are expected to arrive at the arena in full gear minus the skates as we will have limited access to the change rooms.

Vaccinated parents will be allowed to help their children put on skates but must head to the spectator area and remain socially distanced from others while in the arena.

Please review the following link to ensure your child has all the necessary equipment for this weekend:

HEALTH SCREENING

A health screening is to be completed by all participants prior to entering the arena.

The screening that students complete each day can be found on this site: COVID-19 school screening (ontario.ca).

Adults (including coaches and volunteers) can use this link: Coronavirus (COVID-19) self-assessment (ontario.ca).

The arenas also have signage as a reminder that you are not to enter the facility if you have symptoms or have been exposed to COVID.

VACCINATION POLICY

As of September 22, proof of vaccination status is required to gain admission to City of Brampton Recreation Centers.
This policy applies to all spectators 12 years of age and older and all adults 18 years and older entering the arena.
More information regarding the policy can be found with this link:  City of Brampton | Recreation | Announcements
In addition, the OMHA has mandated that all eligible players (birth year 2009 and prior) and participants (i.e., coaches, trainers, volunteers) are to be fully vaccinated by October 31, 2021.  While this does not apply to your age group, I've included the link for your information:  https://e-registration.omha.net/OMHAPortal/Download/OMHAVACCINATIONPOLICY(V2).pdf
