In advance of a possible strike by CUPE Local 831 beginning Thursday, November 7, City of Brampton staff briefed Brampton Hockey on the measures in place to ensure continued service of the facilities that we use.
City of Brampton has measures in place to ensure continued service of the ice facilities during peak hours that Brampton Hockey uses for its practices and games. At this time, the city believes there will be little to no impact on Brampton Hockey programs if there is a strike. In the event that any of our practices or games may be affected, City staff will reach out to our Ice Scheduler, who will relay any rescheduling to the Coach and Manager.
