Thank you for your interest in a coaching opportunity with Brampton Hockey's recreational program. Without volunteers like yourself, this youth hockey program would not exist. House League and timbits Learn to Play coaching commitments include one practice and one game every weekend from late September to mid-March, as well as other various responsibilities such as player evaluations, tournaments (one local mandatory, additional up to the discretion of the team), etc. Our competitive programs (Minor Development-MD and Advanced League-AL) have additional commitments that include: weekday practices, development sessions, travel games, travel tournaments, team building events. Please complete the form in its entirety, and ensure to indicate if you are open to coaching at the House Leage / timbits, MD, or Advanced League level.

Each Head Coach is permitted to protect a Trainer OR Assistant Coach. Please specify if you have someone confirmed who will be filling the role.

Policy Acknowledgement

Each Coach Selection Committee requires that the Head Coach acknowledge responsibility and understanding of the following requirements:

  • Fair Play Code of Conduct requirement
  • Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) requirement
  • On-ice helmet requirement for all staff and participants
  • Mouth guard requirements
  • Licensed Apparel Program
  • An understanding of all applicable resolutions for Team for which you have applied

NOTE: All applicants that do not currently have a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) on file with OHF must submit a current VSC.
