Sunday's game against Milton was a great, hard-fought win.  The team showed a lot of character throughout the entire game.  Each and every player made a significant play that contributed to the win.  I am very proud of the boys and encourage them to keep working hard at each and every practice. A big thank you to Nate's Mom, Melanie, for the tasty pumpkin rice krispie treats!

The boys kept us on our seats for another exciting game against the Marlies!  We are starting to improve at "protecting our house", and when that breaks down we always have Robbie's glove!  All the forwards skated well, Max's hard work got him his second goal of the season.   Logan made some big defensive plays and earned himself Player of the Game.  Looking forward to an exciting tournament!  Bring your water wings, but don't forget we have hockey to play ;)

Sorry this post is coming late this week.  Congratulations to Max Welfare our game 2 player of the game.  The red line played great!  This week's practice, the team focused on "defending our house".  Our hard work payed off in game 3 and the team earned their 1st win of the season.  Robbie Watson set the pace early and the white line dominated.  Mark Lamaj scored his first goal of the season and Roan Balan earned a hat trick.  Our 2 players of the game were Robbie and Roan, but the win was a full team effort.  Way to go Bulldogs!

It was a nice start to the season and a solid team effort.  Congratulations to Jackson for earning Player of the Game!  Thanks to all the parents and friends for cheering the team on.  I hope everyone had fun.  I had fun coaching my first game of the season.  Go Bulldogs!! - Coach Chris
