Minor Bantam Bears, 2016-2017, U14-MD (Brampton Hockey Inc.)

Brampton Bears finish season with a win versus Forest Hill 2-0. The end of the season is tough to face knowing this is the last time you will face an opponent with your teammates you have spent so much time with during the season. The memories and friendships you make as a team win or lose makes it all worth while. Although we didn't finish at the top of our League, We had fun and we all became better hockey players !  Great job Bears ! 

The Bears played a solid 3 games in their tournament this weekend recording 3 ties versus Weat Mall Lightning, Kitchener Rangers, Parkdale Flames. Unfortunately it came down to 4th tie break rule that ultimately ended their chance to move on. Bears played their 3rd game versus West mall Lightning in an outdoor game which was an experience the boys will probably never forget. Although the Bears scored with 1:39 left in 3rd to tie the game, West Mall Lightning had scored first to advance them to the semifinals.

Bears Win 4-3 over Bulldogs and Even series 2-2. The Bears strike first as Keavin Elias wires a wrist shot from high in the slot putting the puck past Bulldogs unaware Goalie. The Bears bury there 2nd goal on the power play in the 2nd period by Ethan Kennedy who beats the goalie through the 5 hole. Bulldogs score making it close. Late in 2nd period speedy Jordon Battaglia finds his way past Bulldogs Defense and buries one glove side to make it 3-1. Bulldogs even score in 3rd 3-3 but Bears keep fighting and From high in the slot Ryan Kirkby scores the winner with a shot hard and low that rings ...

Your Bears played a great game Versus Milton Sunday Night recording there well deserved 3rd win of season. Bears win 3-0
