The Brampton Minor Midget MD gold Team traveled to Buffalo NY this past weekend to Compete in the Gene Harrington Shootout Challenge and Compete they did.

Game 1 was a nail bitter with end to end action down 0-1 in the 3rd period the 45's scored only to have the goal disallowed for Goaltender interference. final 0-1.
Game 2 was against first place tier one Team from the G and it was a battle to the end. The Boys played great in the first 2 periods keeping the score 0-0, the 3rd period got very interesting as they made a couple minor mistakes which cost them and found themselves trailing 0-3. They proved the hardest team to beat was one that never gives up scoring 2 quick goals to get back in the game. Despite there efforts the time ran out and game ended 2-3.
Game 3 was played at Buffalo Riverworks Outdoor Rink and the Team was determined to win game 3 and that they did winning 6-1.
Brampton 45's finished 3rd overall. Great Job Team !
