Let's re-group and try again
Hi Team
We just finished playing a tough game and tried hard to win but we couldn't get it going. There were some bright spots though. When we gained possession, We passed the puck cleanly. Nice tape on tape shots out of our zone and into theirs. We communicated on the ice and the bench helping each other out with strategy and play making. And most important, we didn't slow down once.
But we could do better on some things too. We need to be more aggressive back checking. Our defense is of little threat when it's just the two of them trying to clear the zone. Don't dance with the puck when you're in the zone. Shoot at their goalie and get ready for the rebound. Last thing, wingers need to cover the boards. We gave up too many chances just for not being there.
Put this game behind us and look to next weekend. We have a few more games to tune up before the playoffs start.
