Bulldogs take Silver at the Bradford Blue and Gold Tournament!!
Congratulations to the Brampton Peewee Bulldogs for a great tournament in Bradford!  The team battled hard all weekend before losing a tough championship game against the Markham Waxers AE team, settling for the silver medal.

The round-robin started out on Friday with a great 3-0 victory vs the Georgina Blaze.  The player of the game was Thomas Ferriera, who made some key saves late in the game to preserve the shutout.  Game 2 was Friday afternoon against the Riverside Rangers.  The Bulldogs had little trouble in this game, dominating by a final score of 7-1.  The scoring was spread out through all three lines with Jacob Hendrikx taking player of the game honours.  Saturday morning saw the Bulldogs take on the Don Mills Mustangs, knowing that a victory would give them an automatic berth into Sunday’s finals.  The Bulldogs came out strong and held off a tough Don Mills squad to win by a 3-1 margin, earning their place in the finals.  Player of the game was Riley Cheeseman who played a strong two-way game in the victory.  Their 4th and final round-robin game was a preview of Sunday’s final with a match against the Markham Waxers, also 3-0 so far.  The Bulldogs battled but had their hands full against Markham, losing by a 4-0 score.  That set up for a rematch in the finals, in which the Bulldogs gave it their all at both ends of the ice.  Markham just proved to be a better team on this day and won by a 5-0 final score to take home the title.  Player of the game for the Bulldogs was Sebastian Jaskulski.  The team scoring leader for the Tournament was Gregory MacDonald who finished with 5 goals, 2 assists for a total of 7 points.

The Coaching staff is very proud of the team’s performance, and look forward to the rest of the season!  GO BULLDOGS!!
