Brampton Black win Napanee Tourney
Brampton Black really stepped up in their third tourney of the season. The forecheck, backcheck and puck support was perhaps the best it's been all season, and several players stepped up their games to another level.
In the end, the Black team faced off against the host team in the finals. The game was close until a pair of short handed goals put the Black up to stay.
All in all, it was a fun tourney. The players families all had the chance to bond and get to know each other better.
The rope for the tourney has to go to Craig Kirkland and Fabio Mancini. Fabio generously provided our first team dinner, and Craig took care of travel arrangements, and even managed to get the Leafs-Habs game on the big screen for everyone to enjoy. And he was a good sport about the result, too!
