Your Bulldogs battled through 3 tough periods of hockey vs
the Brampton Bears, but a goal with 2 minutes remaining was enough to hold on
to the victory.
With the two teams splitting the season series so far, it was going to be a tough test from start to finish. The Bulldogs scored the only goal of the 1st period with Pavindeer Mattu (assisted by Hayden Malley, Gregory MacDonald) potting his first of the season. After a scoreless 2nd period, the Bears tied the game halfway through the 3rd; making the last half of the period a tense nail-biter. Both teams exchanged chances and Akash Mann was on his game making some big saves down the stretch. Finally with just over 2 minutes remaining, MacDonald (assisted by Arjun Sanghera) scored what turned out to be the game winner after a furious scramble in front of the Bears net. Game MVP honours went to #14 Pavindeer Mattu. Next up is the Brampton Marlies, who are right behind the Bulldogs in the standings. It should be a great match-up.
