Brampton comes away with Win and Tie
Brampton Black opened the season with a tie and a win against Bradford and Aurora.  Down three forwards, Brampton Black fell behind early as an energized Bradford team scored a quick goal. Bradford continued to play strong, but great goal tending by Michael Mancini kept Brampton in the game.

The teams traded goals, with the final score ending up 3-3. Michael Mancini played great in goal and Joshua Attard had a goal and an assist, but the rope wasn't awarded.

The return of Justin MacLean seemed to inspire Brampton Black, as they came out strong on the road against Aurora. After trading goals in the first half of the game, Brampton really poured it on and overtook an Aurora team that had also played the night before. The final score ended up 5-1, with everyone on Brampton having outstanding games.

Picking someone to get the rope wasn't easy. Nathan Dunne, Sai Gill and Owen Konnings had particularly strong games, but the rope went to Nick Cetra who was playing out of position, but still managed to apply great pressure and get two points.
