Unique terms to Hockey
Quarterback - player who directs his team's powerplay
Outlet - pass forward; pass to open player outside of defensive end which allows a team to transition to offense
Out class - play better than opposition
Clog - jam the middle of the ice with defenders to prevent flow and bog down attack
Lug - big fellow; ...the puck (carry the puck up the ice, often slowly)
Rail - winger
Bottle Up - clog the middle of the ice
Dribbler - slow moving shot or pass
Junket - road trip (when we go to Owen Sound)
Custodian - goaltender (because they clean up the mess)
