The playoffs came to a disappointing end when the 45s Minor Midget A team fell to Hespeler and their red hot goalie. With snow still on the ground the 45s decided to keep the season going by competing in the GTHLs Clancy Cup.

Let the Playoffs Begin!

By Jeff Luddington on Jan 07, 2019 (241 views)
The regular season came to an end on the weekend, with the 45's looking a bit rusty after a long holiday layoff. Tourney Finalists!
Submitted
By Jeff Luddington on Sep 17, 2018 (326 views)
They showed up at the Richmond Hill Mary Parkinson tournament as the dark horse. They left as finalists who came just short of winning it all. The team had only six returning players and nine players who played MD last year. But what the team lacked in experience and time playing together, they more than made up in desire. "I'm so proud of this team" coach Luddington said. "I don't think people's expectations of us were very high. But my kids can play and they really feel they have something to prove."
